Glendale, California

Glendale is located at the east end of the San Fernando Valley, north of Downtown Los Angeles, and near Pasadena, Burbank, and La Crescenta-Montrose. Its population of over 200,000 made it the third largest city in Los Angeles County in 2014. It has its own police and fire departments, and an extensive public library system. The Glendale Unified School District, serves Glendale and La Crescenta-Montrose.

Glendale has a multitude of attractions, including over 50 parks; two major shopping centers, Glendale Galleria and The Americana at Brand; a wide variety of restaurants, with just about any kind of food you can think of; several movie theater complexes, and the historic Alex Theatre Performing Arts and entertainment Center.

Glendale is close to Dodger Stadium, Griffith Park, and Universal Studios, to name just a few of the area attractions.
